Multi-layer Carbon Nanotube 'TC-2000'

Customization of tube diameter and crystallinity is possible. We provide products tailored to your needs.

"TC-2000" is a new functional material that enables easy dispersion by controlling the physical properties of CNTs through proprietary technology. Thanks to the shape control technology of CNTs, it features uniform dispersion in a short time, allowing for high concentration dispersion and a reduction in the amount of dispersant used. Additionally, leveraging the catalyst and process technology developed by Toda Industries, customization of tube diameter and crystallinity is possible, enabling us to provide products tailored to specific needs. [Features] ■ Developed product ■ Good dispersibility ■ Capability for high concentration dispersion and reduction of dispersant amount ■ Property control technology *For more details, please refer to the PDF materials or feel free to contact us.

Carbon nanotube (CNT)

This is an innovative technology that has made it possible to achieve high-concentration mixing and dispersion of resin (plastic) materials and carbon nanotubes (CNT) for the first time.

◆ Features - Realization of conductive resin (plastic) ⇒ First achievement in molding materials and fiberization. It is possible to support metal materials (around groups 6 to 13 of the periodic table, several types are also acceptable) within carbon nanotubes (CNT), allowing for control of conductivity, etc. - Since it is a conductive material, plating is possible. - Strength is significantly increased, enabling thinner designs and application to structural materials. The mixing ratio of carbon nanotubes (CNT) can be adjusted up to about 30% w/w. No additives. Typically below 5% w/w. - Realization of high thermal conductivity (plastic) ⇒ First achievement in molding materials and fiberization. High cooling and high heating effects. Thermal conductivity: Copper (Cu) 400W/(m·K), Diamond 22000W/(m·K), CNT 4000W/(m·K) ※ In a single layer, depending on direction, it exceeds diamond. ※ 10 to 50 times the thermal conductivity of copper. - Realization of high current capacity wiring materials. The current capacity of CNT is 2000 times that of copper. While its electrical conductivity is lower than that of copper, it allows for the support of metal materials, making control of conductivity easy. - Electromagnetic wave absorption material. Electromagnetic waves are electrified and grounded.
